Check your profile manually
This guide walks you through the checks yourself. It does not return an automated account status.
- Exact username
- Copy your profile link from Reddit while signed in. Check the username spelling before opening it elsewhere.
- Public profile
- Open that link in a private browser window where you are logged out. A visible profile means your profile is public. A missing profile alone does not prove a shadowban; check your spelling and inbox too. A blocked request gives no account-status result.
- Recent post
- Open a recent post by its direct link while logged out. A single removed or filtered post can be a community issue even when your profile is public.
- Reddit inbox
- Sign in and check your inbox and any ban banner. A temporary sitewide ban can leave your public profile unchanged. Follow the instructions in any notice.
- Appeal if needed
- If you believe your account was flagged by mistake, log in and file an appeal with Reddit. File once; Reddit may limit repeat appeals.

You keep posting, but other people see nothing. Reddit's Reddiquette page describes it as "you can see your posts and votes, but no one else can". Reddit's help center says that when your posts, comments and profile page are not showing up as expected, your account might have been "flagged for spam or inauthentic activity".
This is a manual checking guide. Copy your profile link, open it in a private browser window while logged out, check a recent post by direct link, then read your Reddit inbox for notices. It does not fetch an account status or collect your username. A missing profile alone does not prove a shadowban, and a temporary ban can leave a profile unchanged.
Yes. A community can ban you, and AutoModerator, the spam filter, Crowd Control or a moderator can remove or filter a single post or comment while your profile stays public. This checker cannot see those. Open the post's link in a private browser window: if it is missing or shows "[Removed by moderator]", other people cannot see it.
